Dreams DO Come True!

My beloved Beau told me today what I'd get as a late birthday gift:

A mini shopping spree at Pretty Cosmetics! Wee! I AM SO. EXCITED.

Now, there's something I haven't told you: I have a special PC wish list! My other wish list is just the stuff I can't get right now, but until then, let me share with you what I'm totally getting my paws on this Thursday:

DuWop's Revolution Face TM: Looking at the website, I'm thinking my shade is Conchita, but I can't be entirely sure until I test it in the store. According to MUA reviews, girls with combo/oily skin love this stuff! The only bad thing I've heard is that after about 6 months, it begins to seperate, but hell, nothin a shake of the bottle can't do! This just may be perfect for your beloved Puff and any other girls with the aforementioned skin type! I hope I've found my HG TM!

Cargo's Blusher Tin in Rome: I don't think I really have to explain this one, because well, I already have! One young lady asked me if I had swatches of this blush and the other two that its been compared with, and although I haven't got access to the other two, I'll def swatch this one [and take a horrendously large amount of pics] for everyone!

Urban Decay's De-Slick Mattifying Powder: This is described as a lavender tinted translucent powder. Uhm, I've seen this in person, and I've tested it, and it does not look lavender to me. Maybe its just cos I'm blind as a bat anyways. However, it did go on translucent, but I won't give this the Puff Seal Of Approval until it passes all of my tests!

Cargo's EyeBronzer: I've been wanting a quick and easy shadow to apply, and when I tested it a few weeks ago, I instantly fell in love with the shade. Its the perfect shade of bronze, with just enough shimmer to make your peepers really pop. Its perfect for everyday - work, school, whatever!

The packaging is just tops. I'm all for pocket and clutch friendly packaging, and this is no exception. That, and the applicator is as soft as all outdoors. You can smudge it right into your lash line, or smooth it all over the lid. It can even be used as a highlight for cheeks, or you can mix it with a clear gloss for a hot new lip shade. Its a multitasker!

I think that's a very worthy haul, if I do say so myself! I can't wait to test it out and fill you all in on the results.

And you know, I'm supposed to get some birthday cash this Friday, and I've been on the hunt for a new lip gloss. I think it's time to go drugstore on this one! I'd get Neutrogena's MoistureShine Lip Shine with SPF 20 [mum and I have been a fan of it for about a year], but its too shimmery for what I've been wanting as of late. Maybe I should just re-buy my HG mascara and call it tops?

Wait! I know what to buy now! I'll try Neutrogena's MoistureShine Soothing Lip Sheers!

And look at all of the pretty shades!

AH! Que chevere! Everything I could want in a lip product: balmy, yet glossy; sleek packaging [which = more room in the makeup bag], and SPF 20! I'm thinking Peach Sorbet would go great with the Rome blush. I may even try to get my hands on the MoistureShine Tinted Balm.

My HG lip balm doesn't have SPF, so I just want something to slick on to protect my lips in the sun when I'm not going too OTT. The shade range leaves something to be desired, but once again, that's not too important. At least it'll still have a little colour and shine. I think Glow, Clean, or Natural may be the best ones for Puff!

With this list, I think I'm all set and ready to go for summer!
